Summary:
I stumbled a bit on the novel revisions plan this week, but pulled it back in the end. A bit scattershot this week, but still progress.
Monday:
As I’d done some Colours revision the day before, and worked out that I had two spare days in my current schedule to complete the next draft, I decided to ignore my new plan of always doing Colours first – and do other stuff instead!
I reviewed a book and did a bunch of submissions.
Tuesday:
I wrote another book review.
Thursday:
I started back with Colours, but a four-day break made it harder to get back into it again, so I struggled a bit. I still managed to revise the next five scenes but it was more of a slog than I’d experienced before.
Friday:
I read and commented on a story for one of the TL;DR writers.
Saturday:
I was up and ready to go at 9am but it got to 10:30am and I still hadn’t started my planned session, so I abandoned the Colours and podcast script plan and did some submissions instead. I never thought I’d see the day when I’d rather do submissions than actual writing, but apparently it was today!
Sunday:
I managed to talk myself into getting back to Colours again, but it took some doing! As usual, though, once I actually got started, it went really well.
I also typed up my notes for the next podcast episode, thus managing to complete my tasks from the day before.
