Summary:
Still mostly reading and doing YouTube filming and editing – can’t complain!
Monday:
I started the week with my favourite activity – filming clips for my new BookTube channel! I came up with an idea for a new video series over the weekend, which I’m really excited about, so I filmed the intro and the first few clips for the first episode.
I also did some cold emailing to small independent presses, asking about freelance editing opportunities.
I DNF’d my first book of June, wrote my review and did the notes for my June wrap-up video.
Tuesday:
I did some research about ways to maximise viewership of my YouTube videos and made some notes on it.
I also brainstormed the next story to add to the collection I’m working on, based on a deck of Dixit cards.
I filmed a few clips for an upcoming video and started listening to Mr Mercedes by Stephen King for next month’s Reviews Revisited episode.
I also finished another audiobook so I wrote my review and added some notes to my wrap-up video.
Wednesday:
I sadly DNF’d my second book for June, so wrote my review and added to my video notes.
Thursday:
Today, I actually properly finished two books – hurrah! So, I wrote my reviews and added to my video notes (are we sensing a theme…?). I also reviewed a film we went to see the night before.
Friday:
I scheduled the posting of my latest BookTube video – reviewing all the books I read in May.
Saturday:
I filmed and edited the first half of my Reviews Revisited video for July.
Sunday:
More filming, more video editing – this is the life!
I also wrote reviews for the last couple of books I finished.
