Summary:
Trying not to worry about a lack of work – and spending my time on my own projects instead.
Monday:
I had a leisurely morning, sorting out my inbox and pitching for more work.
After lunch, I went back to the short story anthology I’m working on, based on a deck of Dixit cards, and did some revisions based on feedback from my editor. I also brainstormed ideas for the next story.
A potential new paid editing client contacted me during the afternoon and asked me to do a sample edit for her, so I completed that and sent it back.
Tuesday:
More pitching…
I also made a YouTube short and posted it.
In the afternoon, it was Revision Club, which is always a joy and gave me the motivation to draft the next short story for my anthology and work on ideas for the next few cards as well.
Wednesday:
I finished an interesting computer game the night before so I wrote my review.
Late morning, I had a call with a client whose novel opening I’d edited the week before, to go through all my feedback and plan the next steps for the project.
Thursday:
I did some more filming for an upcoming YouTube video, and also finished the book I was reading for the June Reviews Revisited video. I wrote my review of that, as well as an audiobook I finished the day before, and also added to my video notes for both of them.
Friday:
I finished filming and editing the Reviews Revisited video for mid-June.
