Summary:
Lots of reflecting and planning this week, as is always the case at this time of year. Bring on 2024!
Monday:
I managed to avoid doing some work a client sent me on Christmas Day…
So, there’s that…
Tuesday:
I finished a book (so many great new ones to read as of yesterday!) and wrote my review.
Wednesday:
I attended an annual review/new year goal-setting workshop, run by an Australian marketing guru I came across recently – and it was really good! It helped me crystallise how I want to change my approach to my business in 2024, so I got some really good outcomes from it.
Thursday:
I did the small amount of work my blog client sent over on Christmas Day and also let her know that I’ll be changing my work schedule for 2024 so I’m no longer available evenings and weekends.
Later, when she messaged me back after 5pm with more editing queries, I decided to ignore it until after 9am the next day! Go me!
Friday:
I did the little bit of extra work for the blog client – after 9am! – and also reiterated my boundaries for 2024 to her.
In the evening, we recorded the latest episode of the podcast.
Saturday:
I attended Charlie’s UWR annual review/annual planning workshop, which was awesome as ever. So, I’d done business planning earlier in the week and this was writing project planning (though I added some of the business stuff in as well). All set for 2024!
