Weeknotes – S09E17 – YouTube Channel Launch!

Summary:

YouTube channel launch week – what fun! Also a fair amount of paid work completed.

Monday:

I went into town to attend a Creative Coworkers Collective workshop, then stuck around to work at the venue for the rest of the day.

I had a lot of paid editing work to complete by the end of the week – hurrah! – so I focused entirely on that (a sci-fi novel and a YA fantasy novel) and didn’t manage to get to any of my personal creative projects. But that’s okay.

On my way home, I got confirmation that I passed the CIEP Proofreading course I completed last week, which is the final requirement for my upgrade to Professional Level membership – WOOHOO!!

Tuesday:

I was up and at my desk shortly after 8am to crack on with both my client projects – and I finished edits on the sci-fi novel (with just one section of the YA fantasy novel left to complete later in the week).

Later, during the Revision Club focus session, I completed my renewed application for Professional level membership of the CIEP, freeglanced a blog post for Dave, and also wrote Stanley the Bear’s blog post for the month.

I also proofed my third and final YouTube launch video, in preparation for the official launch of the new channel on Thursday – WOOHOO!

Wednesday:

I did all the final preparations for launching my YouTube channel and scheduled the first three videos to go live in the morning.

Thursday:

I launched my YouTube channel and got some lovely responses, which was awesome!

I also wrote a review of a book I finished and made notes on it for my May Wrap-Up video.

Saturday:

I did some filming and editing for a future YouTube video.

Sunday:

I finished another book and wrote my review.

Then we went to the cinema to see the surprisingly excellent Thunderbolts, so I wrote my review for that as well.
